FH Campus Vienna on the way to “Science City”
From autumn 2022, Vienna has another location for trend-setting study and research activities: within the main location of the so-called Science City at FH Campus Wien has grown yet another in a series of facilities that are being created. Construction was completed in a record time of 16 months. The largest University of Applied Sciences in Austria is being built on the land, right next to the ring road.
At the new study location, a quarter of FH Wien’s students (around 2000) are acquiring skills necessary for a quality life. Healthcare workers and care professionals are being trained to help protect the Vienna`s healthcare system. With “Applied Life Sciences” programs, they are educating future specialists for the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries as well as experts in sustainable packaging and recycling management, thereby making a significant contribution to climate protection.
We are honored to be a part of this success story. Between March and August, we furnished more than 1,600 m2 of laboratory space on 3 floors with our Lab Interior laboratory furniture and equipment. Below are some photos from the grand opening, which took place on November 30, 2022.
